From Reykjavik you can drive to such places as Thingvellir National Park (only 30 minutes from our nature embraced location), Gullfoss (The Golden Waterfalls), Geysir (hot spring area), the Blue Mountains ski area, the spectacular Blue Lagoon, the glacier Lagoon or to Borgarfjordur and Langjokull glacier.

Comfort and hospitality: We have more comfortable beds, primarily with health mattresses. Sun blocking curtains. Fully equipped kitchens or kitchen access. Internet connected computers or wireless access at no extra charge. We are next to hike and bike trails (free bike rentals) that go to the ocean and into the mountains (nature location). Horse riding and stables nearby.
Natural Spa, Golden Circle and other Day trip destinations: If you are feeling adventures, we offer a very unique and awesome opportunity to build your own natural spa in a geothermal area in the middle of nowhere. (Those adventures enough to try it, say they had the best time of their lives) (Ask for details). We are on the Golden Circle route (nature location), just 30 minutes from the world heritage site of Thingvellir. The local bus will take you to the fly-bus and touring bus terminal, alternatively touring companies may pick you up at our location or nearby. We offer our own tours to people who prefer more flexibility than a bus tour can provide.
Concierge: The best things about Iceland are not the touristic traps (although we can also give you information about these): Iceland is a sparsely populated country, which means you can enjoy places, including waterfalls, natural spas, hike and bike trails, and swimming pools without being part of a touristic crowd. Romance: We recommend our superior guest rooms and our better apartments to have a romantic time in Iceland. Stroll to the ocean. Have breakfast at Icelands best bakery, cafe and chocolatier. Relax in one of the spas. Bike or hike together or a take trips to some romantic destinations such as the Whale fjord (only 20 minutes away from our nature location), Snaefellsnes peninsula, the Blue lagoon, exclusive waterfalls or go ski-doo on top of a glacier.
Ecology: If you want a true ecological accommodation in Iceland you found it. Being ecological in Iceland is NOT about avoiding phosphor where there is no such problem. You can contribute to ecology and the community by sharing services with the locals. We recycle your sorted trash. We only use green energy, geothermal or hydro electric. We buy shampoo, soap and detergents in bulk and use refillable containers rather than contribute to the wastefulness of typical hotel bath amenities. We use perfume free enzyme detergents (bleach free as much as we can) and air dry the laundry (hang it up).

- Reykjavik Central comfortable economy Apartment. May be available after 11 June 2010. This is not a luxury or fancy apartment, but it is fully equipped and does have comfortable memory foam health beds for four in one bedroom. The other room has the kitchen, dining and laundry area and a small sofa and the door to your private bathroom, with a toilet and shower. Optional wireless mobile Internet available free of charge. Parking usually available within a reasonable distance. This apartment is truly very centrally located without being in a noisy street. So lots of restaurants and shops close-by. Swimming pool next door.
- Single room in a Reykjavik Luxury Apartment.
- Twin room in a Reykjavik Luxury Apartment. This is a good option if you would like two separate beds. (If you would like a double room but would like to save you could book this twin room instead of the double and push the beds together -but note that one bed will be between the wall and the other bed).
- Double room in a Reykjavik Luxury Apartment. This room is a bit more spacious and slightly more expensive. It has a double adjustable bed, so it is not suitable if you would like two separate beds.
- Luxury Reykjavik three bedroom Apartment. Select this option if you would like this very nice two floor apartment totally for yourself.
- Applicable to all rooms below: Hike and bike (free bike rental) trail that goes to the ocean, town center and into the mountains. For children: Playhouse, sandbox, seesaw and swings in the garden. Fenced garden for young children. Babysitters may be on location. Located in a Villa with a great view.
- Room - Luxury apartment and Villa combination. With this option you get to stay (subject to availability) at both our Reykjavik Luxury Apartment (see above) and at our nature embrace Mosfellsbaer Villa (see below). With this selection you can both get more out of your stay and save. We appreciate the flexibility this category gives us and therefore if you select this option you will be first in line for complimentary upgrades. However if you definitely want some particular room select it instead.
- Room in a Villa embraced by nature. The Villa is located about 15 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center, near the Mosfellsbaer town center, next to nature and a spectacular view. Even closer to swimming pools and spas.
- Room selected at check-in. You can select from the rooms we have available, which means you may be getting a complimentary upgrade from the cheapest room.
- Mountainview guestroom. No matter where you go in Iceland, you will hardly get a better mountain view right from your lodgings.
- Family guestroom. We have large rooms with four beds where we can add extra mattresses for large families or groups. Or you can select many rooms (in case of the latter please check availability before you book)
- All Rooms: Shared access to a nice living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Easy bus connection to downtown Reykjavik. Free wired or wireless internet and free parking. Cheap grocery stores nearby. Excellent bakery and cafe.
